Kym Fritz-Pluym, DDS

Dr. Kym has been practicing dentistry and has owned Dodgeville Dental since 2015. She earned a dual degree in Biomedical Sciences and Spanish for the Health Professions from Marquette University in 2011 and then went on to dental school at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She stays actively involved in continuing education and professional organizations to remain current with the latest techniques and provide high-quality, modern care.

Dr. Kym is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their care. She believes in open, honest communication and takes the time to create clarity. Her goal is simple: to make every dental visit a positive experience. Dr. Kym also leads the practice with that same care and intention behind the scenes, supporting her team and fostering an exceptional workplace culture. When it comes to clinical care, she finds cosmetic composite dentistry the most fun and rewarding.

Outside of the office, Dr. Kym enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She loves boating, hiking, e-biking, and traveling with her husband, Dr. Evan, and their two sons, Keston and Arie. ☀️

Evan Pluym, DDS

Dr. Evan has been practicing dentistry since 2015 and practicing at Dodgeville Dental since March of 2020. He earned his bachelor’s degree at UW-La Crosse and obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa. He grew up in Kieler, WI and has always wanted to continue to live and practice in Southwestern Wisconsin.

Dr Evan has a strong focus on education and enjoys actively participating in the ever evolving field of dentistry. His aim is to bring cutting edge care with compassion to his home area. His professional affiliations include the Act Dental Best Practice Association, Spear Study Club, American Orthodontic Society, Implant Pathways, Cerec Doctors Mentor, American Dental Association, and the Wisconsin Dental Association. Dr Evan is also serving as president of the Southwestern District Dental Society, which includes Crawford, Richland, Iowa, Lafayette, and Grant Counties.

In his free time, Dr. Evan loves to spend time with his family, especially outdoors. His hobbies include traveling, snowboarding, boating, hiking, and biking. 🚴‍♂️ 

Journee Vogel, DMD

Dr. Journee has started her career and been caring for patients here at Dodgeville Dental since 2021. She got her bachelor’s degree from UW-La Crosse and her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Having grown up in Potosi, she’s excited to be providing dental care in Southwest Wisconsin, where she has always called home.

Dr. Journee’s passion for dentistry and community involvement is reflected in her participation in the Spear Study Club, the American Dental Association, and the Wisconsin Dental Association. Dr. Journee is also serving as treasurer of the Southwestern District Dental Society. She enjoys working with patients of all ages but has a special love for working with children. She is committed to educating young children about oral health and hygiene to help foster early habits that lead to lifelong dental health and is often seen doing so at the local schools and daycares.

In her free time, Dr. Journee loves spending time with her husband, Matt, and the rest of their family. She’s a big fan of DIY projects, spending time outdoors and playing a good game of Euchre. ♣️  🎨
