Kym Fritz-Pluym, DDS

Dr. Kym graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and has been practicing dentistry since 2015. She has professional affiliations with Act Dental’s Best Practice Association, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, Spear Study Club, the American Orthodontic Society, the American Dental Association, and the Wisconsin Dental Association.

Dr. Kym has owned Dodgeville Dental since 2015. She purchased Dr. Rohowetz’ office in 2015 and practiced there for three years. She then purchased Southwest Dental Associates in 2018 and merged the two practices together at their current location across from Lands End. 

Dr. Kym strives to provide comfort, clarity and positive dental experiences for her patients. She is also very passionate about supporting her team and creating a positive work culture.

When not at work Dr. Kym enjoys spending quality time with her family. She loves hosting people and being surrounded by family and friends. She thrives on staying busy and keeps her social calendar full. 

Dr. Kym also likes traveling anywhere warm and sunny during the winter. ☀️

Evan Pluym, DDS

Dr. Evan has been practicing dentistry since 2015 and practicing at Dodgeville Dental since March of 2020. He grew up in Kieler, WI and graduated from Southwestern High School in Hazel Green. He earned his bachelor’s degree at UW-La Crosse and obtained his Doctorate in Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa.

Dr Evan has a strong focus on education and enjoys actively participating in the ever evolving field of dentistry. His professional affiliations include the Act Dental Best Practice Association, Spear Study Club, American Orthodontic Society, Implant Pathways, Cerec Doctors Mentor, American Dental Association, and the Wisconsin Dental Association.

In his free time, Dr. Evan loves to spend time with his family, especially outdoors. His hobbies include traveling, snowboarding, boating, hiking, and biking.  🚴‍♂️ 

Journee Vogel, DMD

Dr. Journee has started her career and been caring for patients here at Dodgeville Dental since 2021. She got her bachelor’s degree from UW-La Crosse and her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. Having grown up in Potosi, she’s excited to be providing dental care in Southwest Wisconsin, where she has always called home.

Dr. Journee’s passion for dentistry and community involvement is reflected in her participation in the Spear Study Club, the American Dental Association, and the Wisconsin Dental Association as Treasurer. 

She enjoys working with patients of all ages but has a special love for working with children. She is committed to educating young children about oral health and hygiene to help foster early habits that lead to lifelong dental health. 

In her free time, Dr. Journee loves spending time with her husband, Matt, and the rest of their family. She’s a big fan of DIY projects, spending time outdoors and playing a good game of Euchre.  ♣️  🎨
